Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing good-what a crazy week last week was! Phew! May is such a crazy month...I feel like its flying by. I did have a relaxing weekend though. Friday night I got off work in the perfect amount of time to see my brother Nick and his date off to prom. This is his 3rd prom this season! HA! Then my friend Ashley was in town from Kansas City so we went to eat at this mexican restaurant which was delicious then we just hung out. Saturday I had Janie's first communion mass and lunch. It was so fun and she looked so pretty! I cannot believe she is 8 already. After that I HADDDD to go shopping for a dress for my friends wedding and thank you lord I found wait two!!! They are super cute-I will decide which one I am going to wear. I will upload pics later. I was shopping pretty much all day on Saturday so I was pretty tired but the time I got home. I just layed around and went to bed early. I was fine with not doing too much this weekend since the next few will be crazy! Sunday was Mother's Day and we had my grandparents over after church for brunch then went to my uncle's later in the day! How was your weekend?

Remember Me?

First of all, please let me apologize for neglecting you all. I have been SUPER busy! This month sure has been a crazy one and its going so fast already. Let me catch you up on somethings that have been going on with me--last weekend was my last day at the bank. It was a nice day-we all brought in treats and lunch so it was perfect. I will miss them all so much but was eager to start my new job on Monday. Also, we had my friend Angela's bachelorette party last Saturday too. Boy, it was a busy weekend. We had so much fun! Her maid of honor, Anna, rented this bus so no one had to drive and we were having a blast jamming out to music and bar hopping! I cannot wait for Angela to start her life with Tim and cannot believe that her wedding is so soon! AHHH! I still need to find a dress! HELP!

Next thing that has been consuming my life is my new job. I work at a Pain Management Center now and am learning lots and loving it. Its amazing how fast the day goes now. A few of my friends from college work there so we all have a nice time together. It is hard starting a new job though because certainly you remember being the "new" person. Its hard and overwhelming learning EVERYTHING! The doctors that I work for are great though and are fun to work with. I have some busy days/weeks ahead but I will definitely still try to blog! Sorry its just been so crazy!! Hope ya'll are doing great!

Show Us Your Life-Money Saving Tips!

Show Us Your Life with Kelly's Korner

This week for Kelly's Korner the theme for Show Us Your Life Fridays is Money Saving Tips!

My biggest money saving tip would be coupons. When I was younger I used to hate when my mom would use a bunch of coupons but now when you start paying for things on your own you have a different take on it. I love coupons! I always clip them out even if I may not use them--I just clip them and throw them in my wallet. I was watching the news this past week and they had a whole segment on coupons and how this mom of 4 kids had a binder FULL of coupons. They showed her at the grocery store and with all her groceries rung up her total was $167.00 and then minus all the coupons her final total was...are you ready for this???? $0.42!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe that??? $0.42! I mean WOW!

My favorite places to use coupons would be:
-Target (LOVE this place)
-Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic
-Grocery Store
...okay basically anywhere!

What are you tips? Go to Kelly's Korner and get some great ideas!

I always check daily-its like my Bible well I clicked on the link today and this popped up, "WORLD EXCULSIVE:Meet Sandra's Baby." I thought the title was funny. Sure this is a big deal but I don't know I got a chuckle out of it. Good for her though. Thank GOD she is getting rid of Jesse James...what she originally saw in him is BEYOND me. Seriously.

Cardinals Game

Last night we went to the Cardinals game because my parents' god child and our little neighbor Janie was throwing out the first pitch! She did so great and threw a good pitch! She was all excited and right when she got home from school started practicing in the yard-she really didn't even seem that nervous. It was a great, chilly game and we WON! Woohoo! Thats always good!

Janie's parents and my parents--been great friends for almost 20 years!

My parents with their godchild, Janie.
(Or as she calls them "Tim and Lala")

Janie and myself-wish the picture was better!
(This proves how short I am-shes 8 and I'm 23 & not growing! HA!)

Top 2 Tuesday

This week for the Undomestic Momma her theme for Top 2 Tuesday is Favorite Summer Things. I would say my number one favorite thing would be that my parents put in an inground pool last year and its like a mini paradise out there! Its fun lavishing in the sun and getting your golden brown tan!

My next favorite would be going to the Lake of the Ozarks-its only 3 hours away from where I live and a nice getaway! I am going this summer with my family and I am sure I will run into some friends along the way-many of my friends have condos/houses on the lake which makes it fun when we are all down there! Like we did in Gulf Shores 2 years ago, we are all staying in ONE house at the lake-needless to say its huge and glancing at the picture below you will see why we need a big house--there are 30 of us!

This picture is from when we all went to Gulf Shores-now you get the idea when I say it will be crazy with all of us in one big house!
